2016 pay rise?

If working in a supermarket pays the same as our job I think there may be a fair few posties applying especially the more senior ones who by then will be struggling to walk!

Hours reduced, no extra pay ?, oh silly me, hours reduced but increase in workload.

3 days of talks in Bournemouth next week on Pay , Resourcing , Working Time Directive , SA limits , One Plan for Delivery Offices and Royal Mail Strategy.

The best pay deals have never been agreed within the first month of when the pay deal is due.

These negotiations are complex and remember there are never pay deals without strings. The question is how long are the strings.

The funny thing is a lot of staff moan about not having time to take a break because they have got lapsing to take as extra work! FFS!!

I remember someone blurting out during a WTL session once that he'd had to cut his break short the day before in order not to do overtime! Since it was one of those types who if he started moaning the WTL session would last 2-3x as long, I refrained from pointing out that he'd just confessed to doing overtime and volunteering not to get paid for it!
