Yeah I haven't been paid for delivering the polling cards here in Scotland, when are we supposed to be getting that? Didn't have a chance to ask the manager about it today

so take advantage of it

Or better still cut off and don't go over, that will screw them even more than delivering it

do you not know cut off procedure ? most of us are on contracted hours, you are obliged to work those hours and no more. Its up to YOU if you want to stay out when RM accept contracts like these. DO NOT fold to pressure from managers of getting these things done if you dont want to do the extra work, just politely inform your manager you wont be completing due to this extra work.

he is trying to get them all done for the least overtime, ie from that statement most people will probably do them on the quieter tuesday

end of the day it is his office to manage and if he came out with even a stupid statement like he wanted them all done on the tuesday that is his prerogative, just exactly the same as its the posties prerogative to only work to his time and follow the cutting off procedure, and the prerogative of the h+s rep to remind everyone of the maximum bag weights and to advise people to split bags down under that even though it may take the duty longer to complete etc

I worked at the Royal Mail prior to the 2010 changes, and then came back after them. From my POV the chances are definitely to my advantage! Like you say, I get paid the Delivery Supplement even if I'm on holiday or off sick and in addition I only ever got something like £10/week in gross D2D money as I recall whereas these days I'm seeing £23.58 of supplement!

True, we never used to get more than three D2Ds but in my experience it was three D2Ds every week (outside of Christmas), whereas these days whilst I do occasionally get hammered with five it's far more frequent that I get one or even none!

to true why kill yourselfs for this company use the tools provided , lwts etc .
