That says it all really, there are far worse jobs out there, so put up with the s**t. You'll do well in this business son, just accept the crap and get on with it. But it's ok, you'll be finished before the schools!!! Unbelievable, just like the s**t I see every day in my office. And people so intimidated, they are scared to lose they're jobs. And where is the union and what are they doing? I'll not wait for an answer on that one.

And how do you think we arrived at that "Tenner an hour for unskilled work"? I'll give you a clue, it had nothing to do with acquiescent morons who accept everything that is foisted upon them.

Maybe not, but I bet it was fought for and negotiated by those with a sense of perspective, which is something clearly lacking in anyone who would use the words "torture"and "evil pain and suffering" to describe a postie job.
It's RM rather than the Gulag Archipelago..

Really.... well it is torture.... why?????

Because the work loads are undeliverable and cannot be completed in the hours paid... then bulllied into lapsing as well.... being forced to work it.. as managers say it can be done....

And if you refused to work past your time.... managers then take a vindictive childish attitide.... by finding ways to conduct you or attempts to get you dismissed...

Thus, meaning its torture... psychological and physical untold pressure on you as postie to do unachievable work loads... day in day out......

Im a f u c k i n g human being not a robot...

You clearly dont know what your writing about...

Plus.... if you think about it...

Loads of posties on the sick from depression , stress, anxiety.. as well as physical problems.... due to the job...

So for me.... as a company i would be thinking and trying to address this... as to why are there so many off sick....

Instead the company is hell bent on making the situation worse in delivery and dont give a sh i t about the welfare of its staff....

And just to finish.. worked overtime not being paid.. that is stealing by the company....

And if u say to me find another job... your a retard...

That's because we are now a private company, and all that matters above everything is making a profit for the shareholders...of which we are.

IF the union weren't happy about working practices etc, then why don't they ballot us for strike action?

Well on balloting

Well on balloting for strike action.....

Im not 100 % sure on this.... but im led to believe that if the union call strike action.. there is clause from the last pay deal that royal mail... can remove the guarentee on our terms and conditions.... that currently protected till 2019...

Effectively..... ripping up our contracts.. and replacing them with really bad terms and conditions...

How many are off sick in the UK?
Do you have any idea?
Perhaps it is time to change the record. We aren't being tortured.
We go to work. We work to the best of our ability and then we go home.
The rest is bullshit.

You won't answer because you can't.
Instead you will fall back on crap like:
- my DOM keeps me locked up in a dungeon and only lets me out to do triple lapsing.
We are all slowly being tortured to death on the orders of Moya.

Maybe you need to read over some of your posts to get an idea of how stupid and boring a lot of them are.
meanwhile in the real world ....

You make it sound like you're a prisoner in a hard labour camp? Why stay if it's so terrible and isn't going to get any better?

I've never worked anywhere where I can go to my boss and say "I won't be doing all that because I don't have enough time to do it."

No one is forced to work past their time at the end of the day.

Why stay if it's such a terrible job?

And just out of interest, what are you doing about it? Other than abusing and patronising people who don't agree with you?
