RM state there was a full and comprehensive investigation.
The judge said "the investigation fell very far short of that which a reasonable employer would have carried out."
Spot the difference.
The judge also reported there were inconsistencies in the reporting of the test mail and that the investigation was deficient.
The ballot will shape the future for everyone not just Dave.

Sacked Cupar Postie Must Fight On
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Correct. Anybody voting no, please do me a favour and call payroll and ask to have your union subs stopped. Because quite frankly, what is the point in being part of a union if you are not willing to stand UNITED?fishtank wrote:There are no ifs or buts from the side of a trade unionist.Jambomatt1874 wrote:There's a lot of ifs and buts on both sides.when can we here from the union about the other side?
An injury to one is an injury to all.
If you can't understand that basic premise then I'm not sure why you would be a trade union member..
He was sacked.
The tribunal said it was unfair.
Royal Mail have ignored the tribunal.
These are the facts of the case, nothing else should matter.

Just a shame that staff without access to Internet / RM chat are missing out on this info. RM sending out their propaganda without allowing the CWU to send their viewpoint is bordering on harrasing members to vote no IMHOTrueBlueTerrier wrote:Jambomatt1874 wrote:There's a lot of ifs and buts on both sides.when can we here from the union about the other side?

it beggars belief that they have deliberately manipulated the words of the judgement to make it look like they have a fair point. THEY HAVE'NT. I really hope we stick it right up them. best wishes to all and Dave Mitchell.

That is utterly shocking! I hope the 48% can sleep well at night, knowing their employment can be terminated at any point with no evidence of misconduct.Scotland1 wrote:52% yes 48% no don't know yet what was turnout

Something fishy here, if it's a given why would nearly half of those voting vote no?
