A familiar face was back on the streets of Kirkcaldy yesterday to open the town’s new post office.
Former local MP Gordon Brown was on the High Street to cut the ribbon at the new outlet, the premises previously occupied by the Clydesdale Bank.
While in office, Mr Brown had campaigned vigorously to preserve a post office presence in the town centre after the service was forced to move from its previous location in the now closed Tesco supermarket.

Is this some sort of cleansing exercise of his decimation of the postal service under his and Tony bluer than Blair leadership it will not wash with me nor most of the working class in this land!
