Parcel delivery company Yodel has taken IDI Gazeley’s 97,952 sq ft speculative warehouse in Enfield.

Gazeley Enfield YodelThe company has taken a 15 year lease on Enfield Distribution Centre at a rent of £9.25 per sq ft.

Yodel handled a record 22 million parcels in the five weeks leading up to Christmas 2015.

The Enfield building has 12.5m eaves, ten dock door and eight level access doors as well as 23 HGV and 90 car parking spaces. It was completed in July last year.

Joint letting agents on the site were JLL, CBRE and Lambert Smith Hampton. Knight Frank advised Yodel.

Yodel also has a major sorting centre nearby in Hatfield.
