Distribution manager Stuart says thank you cards a welcome addition

This year we introduced Christmas thank you cards for managers to pass on their appreciation to their teams.
Stuart Miller, a distribution manager at Cambridge mail processing unit, received a card from his manager, Logistics director Chas Basra, for his team’s great work over the Christmas period.
He said: ‘The fact I had a card from Chas himself to say how he valued the work we did shows a personal touch and it was very much appreciated.’
The team at Cambridge MPU is a small one with around 28 drivers. Stuart said he will now order some thank you cards to use for his own team in future.
‘Having received one of the cards myself, I can see their worth. I want to recognise the work my team does because it is our drivers who make the connection with our customers and deliver a fantastic service,’ he said.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
