I have 60 Hours of holiday,
I heard if you dont use them you can just claim money for that holidays.
Could you please update me regarding this matter.

Yes, you should ask the agency for the holiday entitlement, especially if they're not updating you regularly.
Let them know you want part/all your accrued holidays as payment. If I remember correctly it goes through to your bank with the following week's pay.

been told if you do not claim holidays by end of current tax year you lose them and that was by payroll

Been with Angard for four years now and they always try it - it's a scare tractic to try to get people to book holidays off before the cut off date. They always (the time I been with them) reboot the holiday back down to 0 but paid out on any unused holiday.

Same as above. I always use my holiday just to be on the safe side. You can allocate unused hours against any day other than Sunday where you haven't worked, and backdate it for about 8 - 10 weeks if you need to. As there have been many days where I haven't worked, Angard shift allocations being the way they are, this is not a problem. Either way, you won't gain or lose anything, unless you usually work six days a week.

I've been on Angard's books since the 18th December. I rang up today to ask regarding how many hours i've accrued. I asked when the needed to be taken by and was told the 31st of March however when I asked I was also told that they do pay out if they have not been used so I would not lose the hours. There is no longer any need to fill out the old style form requesting holiday dates. All you need to do is ring the switchboard and select option 2 and then any members of staff can then verbally deal with your request.
