A Coventry parcel worker has been jailed for eight months after being found guilty of theft.

Shaun Woodman committed his offences while working at the city’s Parcelforce Worldwide Hub, at the Middlemarch Business Park, in Baginton.

The 49-year-old was prosecuted by Royal Mail and found guilty of theft following a trial.

He was sentenced at Coventry Crown Court on Monday to eight months in prison.

Woodman, of Plymouth, Devon, was also ordered to pay £1,192 compensation and costs of £9,536.
