I do an indoor duty - RLE and average about 5 miles a day !

it's impossible to make all rounds equal sure, if royal mail were concerned with their worker's welfare they could certainly make them more so, though.
consideration for older workers, yes, the ones that are struggling for whatever reason. considerations for new staff members would be good as well, new starters who get shafted on the hardest rounds while the older full time posties offer little help and pootle around in their vans claiming overtime waiting to retire, vehemently denying their rounds might be a bit easier and could take some of the workload off other's backs.
the best one is when they claim they've had to stick it out on the harder rounds themselves so we should all have to earn the right also. when they had bikes and could finish at 1 everyday, maybe.
