so, potentially,... 6 hr deliveries is a very stark possibility.? 10 til 6 is on the cards?... and stand alone singleton driving duties? and what is to happen to posties who can't drive. these are all changes that are bound to force people into either leaving or being forced out.

So what proposals do RM and the union have to enable us to see in the dark to deliver mail?

Some posties on hybrid duties already work hours similar to that.
There will still be some HCT duties .....but they will have to be ringfenced for people without a skill? That will be interesting.

some HTC duties....there are thousands who can't drive. mass redundancies?...or will RM learn them all to drive. That WILL be interesting

There's plenty of people who work for RM who have a license but do not want to drive a company vehicle and put their license at risk for no extra payment :cuppa

agreed. but the ones who can't drive don't have the option....unless they pay to learn.

With a few exceptions if you don't already drive then i don't think people will rush out and start driving lessons because RM want drivers
