there are p/t and f/t staff in our office. some on 21 hrs,... 25 hrs,.. 30 hrs... and 39. ..... but ALL the walks are 4hrs 45mins long.

We usually get this BS after Christmas. Work your Bollocks off over Christmas then as the end of the Financial Year approaches....Royal Mail start claiming Poverty! 
They're just getting ready for the Pay talks when they'll claim there's no money in the pot and can't afford a rise. By slashing any overtime (and last year they told us their was ZERO overtime) they're also slashing their wages bill. Let's see if they get away with it!

Did the same in my office, told all part timers to come in 2 hours after the full timers (even though they were put on full time duties"
Full timers had to go on the sorting....double prepping everywhere.
7 Yorks of packets/mail were just left.
Royal Mail cutting hours = illegal office failure
