How Much Longer Untill Afternoon Collections Go?

Post by Senior Service »

Am i being pessimistic or can we expect the collections from post boxes to disappear in the afternoons; with the later start times afternoon collections are often hardly any later than the collection made whilst on delivery.
We have several schedules in the afternoon for collections and to lose this money would be a big blow.

i feel that afternoon collections will stay, but, they will employ part time staff at a lower wage rate to do these collections, or, get us working 8 to 5 and adding the collections on the end of duties, either way we will get shafted yet again by these two clowns. :lfo :cfo

We have already lost two SA duties because the crafty Dom has taken on two part-timers and amalgamated it into a newly created duty.

Cant seem to get across to the SCAB part timers how this is the way Royal Mail will now work. At present they all love it because they get all the OT and SA. However they dont understand that when the SA is gone, theres no more OT because we now ABSORB evrything, and surprise surprise the biggest carrot "yes of course you will be made up to a fourty hour contract" dont happen, I ask the dumb arses how you going to survive just on THIRTY HOURS a week.

Just a bunch of suck-ups
