Talks with Royal Mail will resume tomorrow

CWU have presented RM with ammended document. Royal Mail are fuming about the ammendments and have taken document back to operational managers to look over today!!

Brendan Barber of the TUC is unavailable this afternoon which is why talks will now be tomorrow!

No agreement as yet

Looks like another Friday on the steps of the TUC!!

More to follow as I get it .........

yeah apparently so mate. Don't know exactly why. I think RM have taken document away to consider!!! Another delaying tactic

i got told this morning from a gaffer and the dum ,that the pec had made 10 ammendments gave it to rm and mr crozier said sling you hook any1 else heard anything on them lines

we had a meeting with the SOM today who has the proposed agreement that Dave has signed!!
he reckons its s**t and RM are aware we will reject it so they are planning for more strikes and are going ahead with executive action putting in revisions.
he also said that as RM are already in the s**t it will not make any difference a few million more items and it actually gives them a bit of a window to make changes.
he also said that they really do not care if it causes problems they will sort themselves out over time.
its clear they want an all out and thats the way to break us in their opinion
