Villagers turned out to say goodbye to their postman, Roy Talbot, who has retired after 29 years.
He was a familiar face in Yarley, Henton and Bleadney - after spending 21 of his 29 years delivering letters and parcels to the 300 houses in the villages.

Around 60 people turned out to wish him well, and presented him with a generous cheque and a cake baked by Jo Warburton, complete with a Postman's bag with parcels and letters tumbling out of it.
His final delivery was on 30th December and Roy's wife, Wendy, said he was bored already, and was looking for any jobs helping in people's gardens.
