The men were arrested in a field in Hixon at 3.50pm today.
They were arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
It followed the theft of a parcel delivery van from outside the post office in Pool Lane, Brocton at just before 3pm.
The vehicle failed to stop for officers and instead sped off, at times reaching speeds of 80mph, the police said.
A police helicopter was also set up to help in the chase.
