Breaks at end of shift?

Post by Extremely »

Am I able to take my break off at the end?
8 hour shift/1 hour break, leave an hour early instead?

No.

Its against agreements to take the whole break at the end of the shift. However, in deliveries it's possible to take 20 minutes at the end. You therefore may be able to make a case for it.

Its also against the law as at least 20 minutes is a statutory break and must, by law, be taken somewhere in the middle of the working day.
