I have just gotten a position at my local mail centre as a Christmas casual but I did not have my N.I number when I applied i still havent gotten it yet but kn my I.D card it seems toyal mail has given me a temporary N.I number I want to know if I am going to be emergency taxed and if so what percentage and wether casuals pay tax as I was told by an ex employee that they do not should i be worried thank you my pay rate is £8.00 per hour night shift 10 to 6
