Paul Kerswill was upset when he found the £300 Xbox console was not inside the wheelie bin as indicated by the delivery note - and then he watched the CCTV
A delivery driver was caught appearing to scam a little boy out of an Xbox he was having delivered for Christmas.
CCTV footage shows the driver arrive at the house of 13-year-old Kurt and leave a delivery note but no parcel.
The note from courier company Hermes said the parcel had been placed in a wheelie bin.
The delivery man then runs back to his van and drives off.
Kurt's dad Paul Kerswill received the note and was upset when he found the £300 Xbox console was not inside the wheelie bin.
But on checking the CCTV he saw there was no Xbox delivered at all and thinks it was a deliberate scam.
"When I saw it was gone, I was just thinking, 'Surely it hasn't been taken," said Paul, 44, from Hull.

"I didn't think anybody from around here would have taken it, so I thought it must have been somebody driving by. I was shocked to see what actually happened."
Paul said he was able to get a full refund off Amazon, but has not yet heard anything from Hermes.
He is livid that a delivery driver may have pinched the Christmas present for his youngest son.

"This guy just turned up in an unmarked transit van with nothing on it," he told the Hull Daily Mail .
"He had not identified himself and, at the end of the day, he's got my parcel.
"I was fuming. I just hope action is properly taken against him now."
A Hermes spokeswoman told Mirror Online the driver had been suspended.
She said: "We have suspended this driver with immediate effect whilst we conduct a full enquiry.
"We would like to apologise to Mr Kerswill and his son for any inconvenience caused.”
Humberside Police said it had no record of the incident.
