Royal Mail Dispute
Further negotiations took place last week between the CWU and Royal Mail’s Chief Executive Adam Crozier. Following those negotiations proposed terms to settle the dispute were presented to the Postal Executive over the last two days.
The TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber has now invited both parties for a further meeting so that the CWU can clarify the remaining outstanding issues. In light of these developments it was also agreed to suspend the current round of industrial action.
This meeting has been scheduled to take place tomorrow (Thursday
its obviously being dragged out in order to get the backlog of the mail sorted...it must be a very s**t deal to go on for this long...so it will be abck to square 1 once everybody know,s what the deal proposals are...
i cant see it being voted in...unless its fixed votes.nothing would surprise me from royal mail any more.

i know but its royal mail that presented the rather s**t deal that our union cant decide whether to agree on it or not..i bet once the backlog has been cleared it will be back to the drawing board.
