Nope ... that is second wave arriving at our SPDO ...we unload we prep we turn for parcels we ... aaargh ....

Sackable offence ?? Says who ???
Yup pretty much the same in ours , but we seem to get a 20/80 split these days between waves , it's not unusual to get no packets on the first wave , just a few large boxes.

I'm just waiting with baited breath to see what Santa is going to dump on us over the next couple of weeks , already we have " Berlin Walls " between the frames as people scrabble to claim floor space to stack the boxes.

I wonder how it would go down with the MC if we held the van back so we actually had a safe working environment rather than stack packet bags on frames just so we can actually move, no sorting frames for packets for us , on the frame or on the floor.

No wonder our "manager" prefers to stay away , out of sight , out of mind seems to be the mantra

On the plus side we never have any arguments about claiming OT , bringing tracked back , we have even forgotten what WTL stands for let alone what we are meant to do with it.

Happy Christmas one and all :)

No chance of that happening, MCs at this time of year won't have the storage space to hold back work

lol I know that , it's more the unbalanced quantities between waves I was referencing it against.

You can count how many duties we have on one hand , the office is that small.

Everything is delivered loose , no Yorks for us , last Thursday we had 25 bags of packets( not including tracked or large boxes ) , they were stacked 3 high and the postie doing the tracked was doing it on his frame , we could hear him but not see him.

I wonder what part of Safe Ways of Working would cover this situation ?? , I kid you not we have to climb over the bags just to move , I suppose we could just leave it outside the office door in the rain.

Sackable is questionable, although a possibility nevertheless, but it certainly is against RM policy to take photographs without permission.

I do "proper photography" in my spare time - and I know the rules ref privacy/invasion etc ... this photograph was taken on the public highway ... therefore fair game ...
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...

fair game if a member of the public yes, but if you were at work at the time then the above applies to you

it looks like amazon logistics are struggling already, I was expecting a delivery yesterday tracked all the way showed as nearly with me did not turn up ,waited in all day , on contacting amazon was told it had not left the depot , so some one is telling porkies , but at least after a long discussion with there customer services I received a fairly hefty refund ,as well as a new machine the first was a warehouse deal (been opened and returned )with there cyber fri discount . (although I have yet to have it arrive I live in hope )
