Great British Bake Off champion Nadiya Hussain has been reunited with a lost letter from Sri Lanka thanks to the detective work of Royal Mail staff.
Sorting staff in Northampton are used to vague addresses, but it was a first for them when they received a letter intended for GBBO winner who has recently moved to Milton Keynes.
But after a bit of detective work and local knowledge by the team at the Swan Valley, they were able to post it through her door.
Nadiya said: “All it had on it was; Nadiya Hussain, winner of Great British Bake Off 2015 - I don’t know where she lives, but I’m sure the Royal Mail will find her!’ and that got to me all the way from Sri Lanka.
“That was a little bit bizzare, you don’t realise how someone can just pluck out your address.
“I think that goes to show how well the Royal Mail did.”
