Hello All,

When You perform a Hybrid Duty do you have to come in and tie it up yourself and bag up put packets together etc etc or should everything be ready for you bagged up and ready to go?? bear in mind duty starts at 10:45 after everything done we normally out of the office by 11:30 what leave us a really small window for specials and complete loops etc etc the times that we leave stuff behind they give us the most aggro ever today he came out with a sheet of paper saying that the traffic was low then last Wednesday so we should be completing he hasn't done this to the other 15 cut-offs that happen this morning...

Apart from the local work plan, if there is one, there is nothing written in stone that says this type of duty does this prepping, and that type doesn't. I know it won't help but all you can do is your best in the true and certain knowledge that it won't be appreciated, you won't be thanked and it's you that's the problem.

I wondered they had a way out we only have 4 hybrid duties in our office 2 get bagged up and everything done the other 2 don't that's always my point of argument everyday we under pressure because of specials but they couldn't care less....

check your duty 318 it will show how much time you have indoors and what it should be used for and will also show the time you are planned to leave the office, duties vary from office to office so you need to find out what it is supposed to be in your office

Just About to walk in to find out that i am on my own today we both hybrids and do a CDV there is a lot of dead walking if not paired up with someone it's one of those awkwards walks there's nothing you can do then they wonder why i won't do any favours for the @@@** i probably don't have a leg to stand on this apart from work till my time am i correct?

if you can't find a 318 ask your rep about the construction of the duty.

indoor work
outdoor work
meal relief
collection

the duties described may have indoor workload to fill them out whilst the other 2 may not have time available for this.
You may have experiance of both sets and would comment that the others have the time to do indoor work but don't and vise versa, however its is whats been agreed "on paper". It will help you immensely if you know and understand the breakdown of the duties, this will assist you in building an argument for alterations to your duty. Do not compare others to yourself, this may be counter productive.
