Where should I apply?
Looking to apply for this (if it's not too late), but not sure what the best way to apply is. Should I go through Angard or just use the Royal Mail website? Will there be any difference in the roles?

Long term - Angard
Christmas - Royal Mail (although probably too late as they started recruiting back in September and the first casuals will start in around 2 weeks)

Right, thanks for the reply. They still seem to be accepting applications in Birmingham so I'll at least try.

Apparently there have been major hiring cock ups, many jobs are still up for grabs, even got a postcard through my door today advertising jobs.
I done it last year, quite enjoyed it tbh, very hectic at times. Do apply if you want some extra cash this christmas.

Re: Where should I apply?
Got the initial confirmation email when I applied on Thursday but not heard anything back since. Do I assume all the positions are taken now? I thought I'd have heard one way or the other by now.

No. You have only given them 1 working day and they are currently processing applications for 18,000 temporary positions across the whole of the UK, it takes time.

Yeah fair enough, thanks for the reply. I was just going on other people's experiences of getting replies back the same day, but I guess we're a lot closer to Christmas now.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:jay_em wrote:Got the initial confirmation email when I applied on Thursday but not heard anything back since.
