dismissal after ill health
hi looking for some advice.i have been dissmised for gross miscondunct.without going into to much detail been off with stress and anxiety.i have provided docters notes and a letter.i was unable to attend the hearing due to ongoing ill health.sacked in my abcense.any advice please.appeal next week on the grounds of no help from rm.i got reffered to oh months after being off.i tried to rerturn to work.but only one week offered fixed duty as i am a floater.any chance of getting my job back?

Yes there is always a chance. Follow your reps advice as and when he gives it, and good luck.
