If a DIM chooses to ignore recommendations and timescale from OHA/ATOS report and tries to push someone out of the office onto a full length delivery ASAP, what are the options of the injured postie if he feels this will aggravate his injury and set back his recovery? Can he tell the DUM to go f**k himself, figuratively speaking of course?

he can either do the walk or the dim can insist he goes back on sick leave or even stop his sick pay it would depend entirely on the exact situation, there is no right to insist on a rehab, if dom wants he can either make u stay off sick or insist on full duty

If the DOM makes a decision to ignore advice recieved and the individual goes on to incur further injuries this then becomes an industrial injury and can be registered as such because, the DOM ignored the advice and was aware of this being a possibly outcome and the dangers involved in continuing. It will be for the DOM to explain to their boss. Not much help for the individual i know. The alternative is for the individual to refuse and let RM do RM's thing
