First day with one today and its pretty stupid rev the engine to the max nothing crawl along at 5 mph and turn beep! belt along at 65mph all goes green coast up to a junction and gently touch the brake beep! leave the engine running back to green drive round a roundabout double beep! one on the way round one as you exit.Spent far too much time looking at the bloody thing and not the road.

It's an American made device what'd you expect? They don't have roundabouts over there.

Do you think the light will go red when the DPF filter in the Doblo's is regenerated for 8 minutes?! I suppose you could drive like Lewis Hamilton for 8 minutes of your day and blame it on the DPF being done!

As far as I can tell the device is not linked to the engine at all, so cannot tell when you're over-revving. All it knows is where you are, and acceleration / deceleration.

That's because it can't tell when you're revving. You could rev it to the max until it runs out of fuel and it wouldn't do anything, or you could corner it too fast with the engine switched off and it would beep. It's not linked to the engine.
