Forgot to mention holiday at interview

Hi everyone, first time posting here

In my interview I was asked if I had any holidays booked, to which I replied no, completely forgetting a weekend away I have booked in November, which would involve me taking a Friday off. I don't know my start date yet, and I don't know who to contact regarding this issue, any help is appreciated!

tell whoever will be your nominated point of contact that you told them at your inteview about the long weekend and they said it wouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't worry about it. My experience has been that the communication in RM is absolutely dire. They'll ask you for the dates again when they make the formal offer anyway but from what I can make out they either don't pass on the information or it is ignored. By the time I eventually started I had three extra things booked, I just told them on my first day.

Make sure you ask for the Saturday as well otherwise they'll expect you in!! Whenever you start just tell them you mentioned it at the interview, they always forget, you'll have to remind them numerous times. Dont worry until you start as checks can take weeks.
