First they need either utility bills OR a bank statement with my current address. The problem is, the utility bills are not in my name and I don't have a bank statement with my current address (I moved in a few weeks ago). Can I just walk into the bank and ask them to give me a bank statement for this purpose?
Also, I don't have a national insurance number, so they say I need to provide proof that I have applied for one and that I should 'contact Jobcentre plus for more information'. I did apply for it a few weeks ago, however if I call them asking to provide proof that I have applied for one, won't they just give me an appointment to come in?? That would be a problem since I have my interview on TUESDAY and I highly doubt I'll get an appointment at the Jobcentre until Tuesday... and I cannot go to the interview without proof! Do i really need this??
