Good point, does anyone know what happens if you miss their calls? Do they actually bother to email instead?

The process seems to be incredibly random, up to the interview process it was great, passed the interview, but still cannot seem to get anywhere, and nobody seems to want to answer any questions, amazing!

My son applied for Christmas staff 3 weeks ago and has not heard a thing yet, it still says 'Application Pending' Any idea how long it usually takes, you'd have thought they wouldn't take too long as it's for Xmas staff.

Received my stage 8 email today! Formal offer, started the application on the first week of August.

Wording in it was a bit strange as it said the "This offer is a conditional offer upon satisfactory completion of the pre-employment checks the business needs to take." Is this standard in other posters emails? I would have thought all checks would have been completed?

Start date is Monday with induction to follow.
