Royal Mail has failed to deliver for the people of Littleborough, eight months after two post boxes were removed from the area.
The boxes disappeared earlier this year when energy firm E.ON replaced lampposts in Dean Head and Halifax Road.
Despite numerous requests by Councillor John Hartley for the boxes to be replaced, Royal Mail has yet to respond.
Councillor Hartley said: “Many Littleborough residents depend on easy access to post boxes to send letters to loved ones or to post important documents. I’ve written to both Royal Mail and E.ON to ask for their assistance, but I’m still waiting for our post boxes to be put back. Perhaps my letters got lost in the post?”
Royal Mail and E.ON did not respond to a request for comment.
