Hi folks, received an email earlier today inviting me for an interview tomorrow,
all ok except i don't have a passport and only an old style driving licence. would a full
UK birth certificate be ok as proof of ID, or must it be a passport photo signed by a doctor,
police officer etc as stated in the docs required checklist?
Don't want to look a right buffoon and get turned away before it even starts!

I'd take as many forms of ID along as you can. Better to have too many than not enough.

Why have you not got a photo card driving licence? Legal requirement especially as you applied for a driving job?

Paper licences (not the paper counterpart to the photocard) are still legal/valid and only need to be changed in certain circumstances:
