Application status: Ext - Non-Ref

Post by HaylJ »

Hi
I got a phonecall a few days ago about a new vacancy as I was a waiting list candidate, she basically just said as long as the security checks are sound I would be offered the job. So I completed my 5 year form and drivers licence details. My application status went from "In progress" to "Ext - Non-Ref". Does anybody know what the latter means? I'm worried my security checks have failed or something. Any advice would be appreciated :Very Happy

can I ask? Did you get the job?? I just got this same email and my status says the same! I too am a waiting list candidate. If so, did you wait long between the email and starting? Thanks
