This whole thing has not been dealt with very well at all. There will be a lot of very frustrated and angry members wanting to know whats taking so long, why is there no info, how did they screw up on what should have been the current IA and what will happen when we have lost our potential strangle hold on RM yet again.

Enough is enough - if a dozen people have looked at it for 2 days and haven't yet reached a conclusion then it is definitely a no go. Lets stop pussyfooting around and tell RM its a no deal and we are resuming IA with a succession of rolling strikes commencing Wednesday of next week. And this time lets get the wording right.

I think quite a few of us on here thought something was rotten in the state of Denmark after the so called "injunction" quickly followed by an agreement, held over the weekend and now this.

Or it could be they are going thru it with a fine toothed comb, why do people think the union are trying to screw us over? besides that we will have the final say so the PEC guys can't really do anything but approve it and wait for OUR decision.

Perhaps you should take a leaf out of the Finnish nurses book...

Nearly 13,000 nurses across Finland are threatening to resign next month in a pay row, trade union officials say.
The Union of Health and Social Care Professionals (Tehy) is demanding a 24% wage increase for its members over 28 months, rejecting employers' 12% offer.

Tehy says half of its 124,000 staff are struggling to survive because of low pay, and many now want to work abroad.

If no compromise is found, the mass resignations will cripple Finland's healthcare system, the union warns.

They make you guys seem rational!

About the same amount of time it takes a manager to change a light bulb.

Oi! Do you how complicated it is for a manager to change a lightbulb in RM???

First you need to raise a purchase order for the chair, the lightbulb, the hazard tape to warn staff that you're gonna change it and then you need a get someone to do a tannoy notice to the office and then, and ONLY then must you attempt to change it.... if you don't succeed, then get the nearest fit lady with a short(ist) skirt on to do it.

However, this may be quite difficult as fit women in RM are rarer than finding a scoucer without a victim mentality complex!!
