Help please

Post by becbrew »

Hi everyone

Just wondered if anyone can help me. I have received an email to say I have been selected for an interview and they have advised me to log on to my candidate profile. I have forgotten my password but when I put the right email address that is registered on there it's says it is invalid.

I know some people have had problems with this before and just wondered what to do. I found a number on here on a previous message but the call keeps disconnecting.

I am really concerned as I don't know how long I have to arrange the interview and don't want to miss out.

Any help would be great.

Thank you
Rebecca :confused

Rebecca,

I was in a very similar position to yourself, so I can understand the concerns you have....

What happened with me was that I got the message that the password was incorrect (it wasn't because I use
an automatic password generator) and I was following the password reset procedure but wasn't getting an email back.

So I then sent an email to:

recruitment.technical.query@royalmail.com

telling them the password reset wasn't working and I needed to book an interview. An automatic email came back saying they would respond in 48hrs!!!!

I then phoned recruitment on the number that has been in various threads (but which from recent comments appears to have been disconnected or
gets disconnected when they are busy). They said I wouldn't miss out on the interview and would get back to me.
Guess what - I'm still waiting for that call.....I managed to book my interview by randomly trying the password
reset very early on a Saturday morning and all of a sudden it worked! My interview was on the Monday!!!!!

I'd keep trying the phone number and also suggest sending an email with 'URGENT' in the title, explaining your problem to:

myapplication@royalmail.com

Sorry I can't offer a better solution - some of the wiser heads on here may suggest other solutions.

Good Luck

Thank you very much for getting back to me yellowbelly.

I have been having the same problem as you and not getting an email to reset my password. I have tried the number about ten times today and the same thing happened each time. I have emailed myapplication@royalmail.com so if here crossed they come back to me.

Will keep trying. If anyone else can offer any advice that would be great.

Thanks again
Rebecca
