Conditional offer received but no reply?
Hi, I applied for a postman with driving job a few months back, I got an interview and got through a conditional offer on the 28th July, they said it would only take 14 days to complete a Security check however I'm still waiting for a reply? I've emailed multiple different email addresses and rang up several different numbers but I can't seem to find out what's happening. The status of my application still says information required but surely it should say that it's processing security checks? Please help

I'm not really sure what's happened with it to be honest. You'd have thought with it being such a large company they would at least be able to send a couple of emails back! I never even sent off an pic of my ID because they never asked me for it. The last email I got was just a couple of questions and they said they would do a full check on me once they received the answers to the questions. I'm so confused as to how things like this can happen

Re: Conditional offer received but no reply?
Hi
I'm one of these people unfortunately, it is all very odd and worrying but I am trying to take some comfort in people saying that they are back logged from the summer maybe and have all the Xmas recruiting to do.But!
Like you, I got a conditional offer by phone nearly 5 weeks ago and was told it would take up to 14 days, they would contact me if any problems.
My candidate profile just says no applications.I have emailed a gazillion times and for all I have had a few replies, it takes weeks and will be a reply to an old email that isn't relevant any more.
I even sneakily rang the main number today and just selected the option to speak to someone as though I am an employee (it says go online if you want recruitment)
They just said sorry but you just have to email
It's good that this forum is here though so we know that we're not alone and can keep each other updated, I've found it really useful

Re: Conditional offer received but no reply?
It took well over 6 weeks for my checks! I applied in May last year, had an interview in the June and finally heard back after the checks in August and started in the Sept. It seems fairly standard!

Re: Conditional offer received but no reply?
spoke to the manager at the delivery office again today and hes not heard from HR even !
seems they can't get ananswer from them which sounds most bizzare.
He's got his boss in today so he's going to have a word.
strangest way round things ever.
Think i could of trained to be in the SAS the amount of time this has taken.
