D2D. the facts

For all those concerned with D2D and RM revised plans ,if anyone doesn't know the origional plans didn't involve the removal of D2D payments , but that D2D contracts would be looked at in the future IF mail volumes dropped .There was no indication that any removal of paid contracts to RM staff would be forced in with executive action .So whats the alarm and issue .we all know the union will not tolerate what is in effect Â£20 on your basic each week .just show me where it ever said D2D payments were to cease ..Its all a case of make it look really bad pre -pay talks and be seen to give something back that was never going to be taken away .

we were told yesterday that we would have to prep door to doors in break time or come in 10 mins early to prep them
