A post box has been stolen from a roadside in Lincolnshire.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a rural Royal Mail post box, near Horncastle.
The theft was discovered by a postal worker on Tuesday evening and had occurred at some point in the previous 24 hours. The box had been post-mounted near to the entrance to a farm on the B1191 road from Woodhall Spa to Horncastle.
Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 333 of September 8.
