Hi everyone I had the sad email today saying I had passed the interview but didn't get the job. so have been put on the waiting list for three months.
I'm an ex postie so was confident ish but hey ho thats life.

As per the title...
So I applied for a job that is quite a trek from mine( didn't realise how far and how many hours I would be on the m27). got the interview and then got the sorry you have been placed on the waiting list so wasn't too upset apart from feeling like I failed.. applied for a job closer but haven't heard nothing. today I get offerered the job at the place I had an interview on a shorter contract/hours.
what happens if I turn that down? off the waiting list completely and have to go through it all again?.. I wanted to work in my local D/O so I could do all the overtime available and know the area etc but although they are short staffed getting hold of the manager seems really hard.
Hope someone can give me an idea as they want an answer by noon tomorrow,

Steve I don't know sorry but I would have thought that if you turn a post down they would take you off the list.
