Finally an offer of employment!!

hi guys, just thought I would keep people updated. 1st of all people who are in the middle of their application I would say now you still have quite a few more weeks yet, it is a very lengthy application with delays in the email department so be patient, secondly I originally applied on the 28th May and have just received my employment email to start on the 25th of this month, so I still have another 12 days before I even start work, But the good news is that I will definitely be starting soon and no more waiting around for the emails from the Royal Mail department. Finally would just like to say good luck to all those waiting for replies in their application.

i have to say the recruitment process is very slow and seems to take ages haha,I've had my interview this week and I'm currently waiting to hear if I've made it to the next stage,how long did you wait to hear after interview amyloulou ??? It was around 11 days after my interview I heard back from the guys who do the emails!!,, but because my mum works In the office Im applying for she told me I had the job 2 days after my interview as others hadn't had the correct documentation and Their answers weren't as strong as mine.. I will be in the North West Delivery Office

Keeping people updated haha. So 12 days ago I got the offer of employment, yesterday i had my induction which was quite fun, there was only 3 of us though, all women haha,, bit boring towards the end when no interaction was included but its done now, today was my first day in the office, was introduced to my work place coach, whom i already knew because as iv mentioned previously my mum works in the same office, then i was shown how to sort the mail into the frames so i did an hour or so on a couple of frames and then i had a little break and then was shown how to kill off mail, then came a few dvds on fire awareness, dog attacks and manual handling, was in at half 7 finished for half 11 short but sweet day. I am going out on duty tomorrow though so will feel the pain and tiredness, but looking forward to it.
