Just thought I would say hello. I've been reading these boards since April. That was when I first applied for job of Postwomen with driving - Saturday position.
Well over 4 months later, I've got the job. I have my induction in Chelmsford on Tuesday and then I will go into my s.o. on Thursday for a days training before going out on my own on the Saturday!!! Excited but slightly nervous that I won't know everything I'm supposed to know before heading out on my own.
Ive read what some of the guys do if they need to pee on their rounds...but what do the girls do??
Thanks everyone,
Allie

Hi there
I am in a similar position - first applied back in April and have just got an induction and start date for early September.
Wondering about all sorts of things but the only thing I have a worry about is being able to wee!!
Good luck for next week!

Thanks Movingon, Good luck to you too. Think I'll avoid tea/coffee in the mornings before work. I'll let you know how I get on, and any tips I find helpful.

Re: Hello from a newbie
All outside duties (what non posties call rounds) should have designated welfare stops, if they don't then you ARE allowed to return to the office to relieve yourself.
Check the walk log on each duty to find out where the pit stop is.
Welcome.
