got my letter "AHEM" read first line then ripped it up and threw it away with the recycling best place for it, collegueshares, phantom shares there all the same b*llocks if they can 'afford' to give these out, why not give us a proper fekin pay rise?

Well, lets look at it like this, £5000 = £1000 a year = £19.23 per week.......
I would LOVE an increase in my basic pensionable of nigh on £20 a week + the rise of RPI (currently over 4%) each year.
NOT A CRAPPY TAXABLE PHONEY SHARE OPTION, WITH SO MANY STRINGS ATTACHED, YOU COULD START A COTTON MILL UP!!!
LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE. WE WANT A NORMAL PAYRISE WITHOUT THE STRINGS THAT WILL MATCH THE NATIONAL AVERAGE WAGE OF £24,000.

Leighton has made no secret that he wants to run us like the 'John Lewis Partnership'.
Right go to HERE enter your user name "pconnect", and your password "spedan" and you access their 'partners' website. Don't worry, the user name and passwords won't change. Take a look, frighteningly their ideals are the same as Leightons and they ain't allowed to have a trade union. Go and talk to someone you know (at JLP) and ask them about their conditions. Ask them how their pay rates and rises and CUTS are decided.
Leighton would love to run RM like this, lets get this YES vote and get rid of him. He did say apparently in Birmingham last year he would resign if we had of got a yes vote if we balloted off the back of the 95% YES vote from the consultative ballot (remeber that??).
