transfer

Post by marklove »

Hi, I'm Mark and I've been at Postman at Catford Delivery Office for 15 years. I have recently (2 months ago). moved to Sheerness. Before I moved I got onto my Line Manager regarding a transfer as its a 2 hour commute by car each day. I've been in touch with the Manager near me and he said I need to be put on the system so he can see that I need to move..the office is 10 minutes from my house. My manager seems reluctant to put me on as we have a few vacancies at my Catford Office (and have done for some time). My car has let me down on numerous occasions getting to and from work. Sometimes I've had to get the train which has cost me £25 a pop..i have also stayed at my Sister in laws so I don't have to use the car. I need some help..this is driving me mad, I haven't seen my kids sometimes for a whole week because of this...PLEASE HELP

Although the link looks like the recruitment page according to other posters you can use it for transfers.

your best bet would be to apply through that link to a office near you and then request a transfer
