You should. We could do with someone on there who let's us know what's going on, though I expect there is some PEC rule about confidentiality.

Great one Lovejoy.
I agree with Philasurus.. My mates on the picket line and in the office 'Fear' the loss of IR reps in the office. We are just as concerned about the Attendance Procedure.
Many of our office went out for the reasons no one seems to be able to shed light on in the 22 points to be agreed on.
Take out the Pay and Pensions. Its the rest of the agreement that sends chills down our spines.

No it doesn't! There is no mention of the MTSF or IRF or D2D. The pension has been signed away - mark my words - and I quote *our starting point", well what would be the finishing point? The 6.9% is not 6.9% and the flexibility and later start times are a total cop out. This "deal" is hardly any different to the original. There is no defence in this deal to further "executive action" from RM. If the PEC want to stay on the PEC they should reject this out of hand.

Ithink this lovejoy is really tim from soccer am , just spoke to dave roebuck who is on the pec committee he says the deal has good points but a lot of bad .

Its about bloody time we the membership had a say!

Let the PEC recomend rejection if thats want they want, but please let the rank and file have a say in our own future!

if they do this it will help them break the union as every one will have differt agreements no national agreements so no need for the union thats their idea

Thanks for the info. I assume the 30 minutes flexibility relates to start times (ie. 30 minutes earlier on a heavy day, 30 minutes later on a light day) and that it has nothing to do with the the question of covering for a sick or absent colleages.
Can anyone clarify please.

That post is spot on.I want a cast iron national agreement on flexability not a load of vague local agreement nonsense thats a smokescreen to get it accepted.If we go for this your going to see some offices getting shafted.I want the same for everybody that goes out of the window with local agreements.
