Pre-Employment Checks

Post by movingon »

Hello
Trying not to get too excited..........
My status on my candidate profile has changed to "Pre-Employment Checks" - does this imply that I will be offered a job if it's all ok? :pray
Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

Yes as far as I know. I asked the same question recently as I was in the same position. My security checks took 15 days and then I had a formal offer.

Hi

I received email saying that my security checks would start but on my candidate profile it says 'in progress', is this the same as candidate profile saying 'pre-employment checks'?

Wow - that's quick Peshwaarinaan. Are you in a city or rural - big office?

Franco1 - I think maybe it's not the same thing though I can't be sure. My "pre-employment checks" seems to be missing documentation from the interview - though I definitely signed the form at the interview that they are now asking for! I assume if you are in the security check stage then they have made you a provisional offer? I'm not there yet.....

Hi movingon,

Thanks for reply, i also signed the documents authorizing them to do security checks at end of interview, yes i am at security check stage, i also received an email to fill out my 5 year previous employment and i think also to go ahead with DBS check.
Also i received email for them to check my drivers license online - they needed a code obtained from DVLR to do this.

They have offered me a job, guess i just have to wait until security check is complete - will be 14 days on thursday, guess i just have to wait a bit more.

Ah - ok. Was wondering if some offices have a quicker turnaround. Have you started now?

Have just heard I am at the security check stage!

I've just had the email saying I've passed stage 8 - Security Checks. My induction is on the 18th August and it said I will start work on the 19th.

Wow - seems to vary dramatically then - from a few days to a month - after clearing security checks to start date!
