It depends on where the photo is taken, and to put it bluntly you are stating your ignorance with the above remark.

You can still carry a pouch that weighs up to 5kg, you are also allowed to carry a pouch when using a HCT and calling on blocks of flats.

neither will you take a photo again as you will be out the door
so can a cwu office rep take a photo then to show his area rep what is going on in his office to push it up to higher level , as you feel sorry for the postie coming in the next day to a full frame of mail without that days mail . have you ever done delivery ?

you can not carry bags regardless of weight unless it has been mentioned in your duty log in why you cant use a lwt or hct , the use of trolleys is mandatory , and if you are caught conduct code and our h&s rep is pushing this up to the powers above. which I think is great , I will no carry a bag again and haven't for the last 5 years when our p&l started. no collapse and cut off everyday.

Why does it matter if I have done del or not its simple you are allowed to take photos in RM premises unless given permission or you are a HS rep cannot make it any clearer

Who's going to do the conduct. The managers who may only have one or two trolleys in the whole office or the CWU rep who quite happily rushes around with overweight bags over their shoulders. As the original poster tried to say, RM really don't have a clue whats happening in most offices on a daily basis.

You are no longer required to carry pouches, you should be using a LWT, if you are not, and are caught you can be conduct coded.[/quote]

Conduct code my ass .... carrying bags on shoulders all the time ... delivering mail in cars all the time ... delivering parcels in cars all the time and even managers delivering specials in their cars all the time is NORMAL in our delivery office.....
conduct code ? which planet you are living in mate ... mail delivery come first ..does not matter how ... that's our delivery office and once DOM letting have his own car to postman for delivery ... can you beat that ....??

Could technically be a H & S matter. Some poor sod will have to carry a double load of mail on Monday. :chuckle
But to be pedantic its not a H&S issue till all the mails in. Though the rep could say he is using it as a before and after.

A CWU rep passing it up the Union line and still with Royal Mail would probably get away with it after a fashion. An ordinary member probably wouldn't. Its a danegrous tactic with many pitfalls even if I was a rep I would be wary of taking a photo without permission or guidance from the Union itself.
