when temperatures are forecasted that exceed a certain level I think we should have an earlier start time so we can get out earlier to minimise the length of time we are exposed to the very high temperature.

If they could do it for one day they could do it every day.miles_peters wrote:when temperatures are forecasted that exceed a certain level I think we should have an earlier start time so we can get out earlier to minimise the length of time we are exposed to the very high temperature.

Re: Heads up for next week
Just had the Hottest day since time began!
Personally I didn't think it was that bad. Worst part was going into air-conditioned shops and then coming back out again. I'd rather just get used to the heat and plod on! Second worse part was listening to all the whinging bastards on the radio complaining about how hot it was!

They could have left the second wave, let us out earlier and then caught up when the temperatures drop.Hitcher wrote:If they could do it for one day they could do it every day.miles_peters wrote:when temperatures are forecasted that exceed a certain level I think we should have an earlier start time so we can get out earlier to minimise the length of time we are exposed to the very high temperature.
Mail gets left for days in snow/ice. I don't see why some can't get left in hot weather.

Won't happen, the mail doesn't get into MCs early enough for that to happen, if anything it'll probably be later at some pointmiles_peters wrote:when temperatures are forecasted that exceed a certain level I think we should have an earlier start time so we can get out earlier to minimise the length of time we are exposed to the very high temperature.

Boiling hot, 5 and a half hour delivery span, with annoying "deliver these specials as your lapsing".
