Firefighters have put out a blaze after a post van burst into flames.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to Lewes Road, Brighton, at 12.41pm today.

A crew from Preston Circus used one hose reel to put out the fire.

No one was injured.

The door is shut in the first pic, probably went back in for their copy of the Sun :cuppa

I believe the plastic casing on the front of the engine was ignited by an electrical fault - was probably burning a fair while before the lot dropped down onto the road and then cooked the diesel lines...
