If we didn't negotiate it, then it was imposed.

Can't see the CWU disagreeing free money, even if it is crumbs from the table.

We should, in my opinion, judge the Union on the results from the negotiations for the new incentive bonus, that will be fairer than blaming them for what RM did. The CWUs mistake, if there was one, was perhaps agreeing to the secrecy behind the bonus, and being a party to having a view of the formula and figures that came up with the £61.

They would have been better off not even being part of it, but then we are in the age of Joint Statements and working together so I suppose it was inevitable. Now they are getting a lot of the flack, some of it misdirected, some of it not.

Trouble is, this is starting to become a habit....things being imposed .

When dave ward said this was a ground breaking deal we were confused, i think now we understand what he meant. £740 million profit, & we get £61! while managers will get thousands in mid june, oh well, lets all forget this & get on with our impossible summer lapse plans! Cheers dave & co!

This will only incentivise the workforce to go sick and be uncooperative. A £200 payout would have cost the company £27 million, sure some people on here would still be moaning but it would have been perceived as more than this derogatory gesture. Really dumb, this will cost the company more than £8million.

£200 would have been decent amount than a token gesture which as far as I'm concerned they shouldn't have even bothered with. Why all the cloke and dagger nonsense keeping us hanging on waiting to see what they were going to throw at us. The workforce deserve more respect from management who should frankly hold there head in shame. They'll get no favours from me now!

if you averaged 39 p/w over the year you should get the same,
though that still would mean working more than a contracted 39 hrs as the average drops if you are allowed to take the full allocation of holidays
