It seems to me that they have been a bit creative in the period they are taking profits from. According to the financial results annouced recently the amount of profit was £740 million http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-32822755 yet the profit they are using for the incentive scheme is £628 million.

Given they are splitting £8 million between employees this suggests the target profit was £620 million meaning if the profit used was the same announced earlier on then £60 million should be split between employees (50/50 split if more than £15 mllion profit above target made) meaning we should be getting around £450 if the higher figure was used.

I would be interested to know where this £112 million difference comes from

They can keep it, they make 628 million and give there staff 8 million. Plus i thought the profit was 740 million, things are going downhill fast.

Look were all been taking for mugs by Moya and her team and worse still by our own union leader. So the answer is simple turn up at the right attendance time do the job you paid for and go home. Simple

First things first this has nothing what so ever to do with the CWU. Apart from the fact that the CWU got you free shares which you can sell and you get a dividend on.

This payment is linked to the shares you own and is generated to all shareholders.

It is nothing to do with how hard you work ! it what the share price is worth at that moment in time.

If you feel so strong than come November and December you can sell your shares but you will have to pay tax on them. Then you will not get the dividend each June.

Buts let be clear if the CWU had not balloted the staff over privatisation you would have not got free shares and would not have been receiving anything !

What is the efficiency bonus? Don't remember getting one before and haven't heard anything about one this year. Reading through what people have said above it's been on my mind for a while that it wouldn't surprise me if in years to come the senior management aren't under investigation for fiddling figures and finances which is obviously illegal and especially now RM is a company on the stock market.
